Credit Limit Definition
It is the amount wherein a credit card holder is entitled to spend. It also refers to the maximum amount which a lender can offer to a borrower on a single card. Accordingly, it can be increased at the option of the creditor if a person has shown to have settled his obligations on time or in full.
