Growth stocks

Definition

Stocks of company’s that have shown an ability to grow at a faster rate than other firms. Usually growth stocks do not offer investors dividends because the companies are more concerned with reinvesting their earnings. Growth stocks tend to have more volatility, which leads them to be a riskier investment, compared to more stable stocks.
