Hedge Fund Manager is an individual or organization that works as an investment advisor to a hedge fund and manages its assets. The manager defines the investment strategy of the fund and makes decisions about the investments and the adequate capitalization. In many cases the managers are also investors in the funds and part of their compensation is depending on the performance of the fund.
