The history of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange dates back to the 1930s, however the Exchange was really established in 1973 for trading shares, bonds and other securities of Malaysian listed companies. In 1992, the KLSE was fully computerized using (SCORE), System on Computerized Order Routing and Execution automated trading system.
