Non-Deliverable Forwards are a kind of financial instrument used in various markets such as foreign exchange and commodities. A forward or Future is a kind of a derivative instrument that gives the ownwer the right to buy or sell something at a certain future date at a certain price. NDFs are used more for speculating than for hedging.
