Straw Buying Definition
Straw Buying refers to a purchase wherein the buyer acquires goods or services on behalf of somebody else who is not able to buy them himself. For example, a straw buyer allows his or her credit to be used for the purchase of an item he or she never intends to use. Straw-buying is illegal in most cases, it can be a dangerous scam.
