Amazing book. Great and refreshing perspective on marriage., 2008-11-10
Dr. Laura's no-nonsense approach comes through loud and clear in this book. If you're looking for a wake-up call regarding how to treat your spouse and nurture a loving relationship, then I highly recommend this book. She offers her own perspective as well as MANY of her listeners' perspectives; both men and women. If you want someone to tell you that you're right if you ignore the needs of your spouse then do not buy this book. If you have an open mind and are interested in making some changes, then this book is worth the read.

Don't want to fight anymore??, 2008-10-16
Great book for strong women to read. Guys just need lots of attention and constant encouragement! They need to be reminded of the good old days when you worshiped the ground they walked on! Remember the days of dating and bring them back! Guys cheat for attention more than just sex! If you think this book is a joke than you probably don't have a very good marriage!

Good tool for those who want to use it , 2008-05-12

I have listened to Dr. Laura for years... I want my marriage to be strong and endure time. My spouse and I have had previous marriages and I want to learn what "I" can do different in order to make it my last. I am more then half way through the book now and it has made take a close look at my actions, attitude and the choices I make. It seems obvious once you start to read but it is difficult to look at ones self constructively... the book is a great tool for me to look at me and has given me insight
