Problems are too easy, 2008-12-28
The book is well organized but the problems are too simple. This book is like "Intermediate Accounting II for Dummies" because it covers only the most basic types of problems. I'd much prefer the book cover more difficult problems.

Schaum's saving grace, 2008-10-13
I purchased Schaum's Intermediate Accounting II as a reference for my son's finance class. This product helped him clarify methods for problem solving in subjects like Bonds, Mortgages and other investments. It is an excellent "How-to" reference to be used along with more conceptual texts, though not as a "stand-alone". Probably its best feature is organization, for it is very easy to access what is being looked for. Explanations are lean and clear; exercises useful.

Get it at the beginning of your Intermediate class!, 2008-05-09
It's worth the money. I got it too late to help with this semester, which means I have to take Intermediate II over, but this book explains the material better than the large Intermediate textbook I have. It will serve as a good campanion study with one's regular class material.
