Not User-Friendly, 2007-11-13
This book does what it is meant to do - provides solutions for problems in the fourth edition of "Chemistry" by Silberberg. While the solutions that are included in the book are wonderful - detailed, complete, and easy enough to follow - I do have my complaints:

-The layout of the book is poor. There will be a heading at the beginning of each chapter, but the subsequent pages do not have any kind of header/footer markings on them to indicate what chapter you are in. This makes it complicated, when first opening the book, to locate the chapter you are interested in.

-Only selected problems are included in the solutions manual, and rather than including just odd problems (like a lot of other solutions manuals do), this book just includes random, sporadic problems. often, the problem I need help with is not explained in the solutions manual, and it gets frustrating.

I say if you are in the chemistry course that uses fourth edition of "Chemistry," then go for it and by this book - it can't hurt you. I'm just saying that in future editions of this solutions manual, some improvements could be made.
