1 out of 5 starsOne of the worst textbooks for construction drawings, 2008-12-16
I had to purchase this book for a construction drawings class. I don't like to leave negative reviews but ....this book is horrible!!!! DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK UNLESS YOU HAVE TO FOR A CLASS!!!

The exercises are vague. They don't necessarily apply to the section they are attached to. You end up looking all over the book for the answers. The drawing examples are so badly photo copied they are impossible to read. If you buy this book make sure you order a magnifying glass at the same time(not kidding) Half of my class purchased magnifiers to read the drawings. I had a head ache many a day doing homework.

The drawings are HAND DRAWN....anybody ever heard of CAD? So not only is the print small but the person's handwriting is not easy to read. The problem with the construction drawing examples is that they took a 36X48 sheet and reduced it to an 11X17. As I said...headache from squinting.

I cannot think of any reason to buy this book . I have worked in the construction industry for 7 years. Francis Ching's books on architecture are much better for learning about how to draw. There are so many better books than this one. Stay away from anything that Muller does. I have had to use two of his books and they both weren't worth the paper they are printed on. Use this only if some one gives it to you.

Seller described the book as gently used, not missing pages. Book came used but with many pages missing. I started my class in architectural blueprinting, and I find half the homework I cant do, would not buy from this seller again.
