This is such a wonderful book that shows kids all the things that they CAN do all by themselves! I love all Little Critter books!

OK - I just bought 4 books from this series and not one of them was that interesting. My daughter is almost 4 and she loves for me to read to her, but these books are so boring I doubt she'll be requesting these often. I don't know why they get such high points from other reviews.

Excellent, 2007-12-18
My son is 8 yrs old and loves this series of books. The reading is fairly easy and the stories short so it keeps his interest. We read them as bed time stories and they are perfect. We own several of this series and we like them all.

Great book and recommended by school system, 2007-09-09
I bought several books by this offer because my daughter's (age 5) elementary school recommended them on a reading list. My daughter loves them and I really like the subject matter - this one in particular helps her understand that it is great to be able to do things "all by herself" but that she might need a little help sometimes.

I really don't have much to say on this. It lacks a plot. Rather boring. Not up to snuff for a Mercer Mayer book.
