My dad used to read this book to me so I bought it to read to my daughter. It teaches a good lesson about candy consumption. I love these books!

Great learning tool!, 2007-12-04
The Bearenstain Bears books are excellent teaching tools. This book says exactly what I wanted to say to my 4 year old grandaughter. It is a way to explain to a child why they are becoming overweight, in a way they can understand, in a way that is easy to hear.

Check out Benny's Burgeritis now available with Berenstain Bears ~ Too Much Junk Food! It's a hilariously funny story of a little boy named Benny Buttons who refuses to eat his vegetables despite his mother's repeated warnings, until one day the unexpected happens that changes Benny Buttons' life FOREVER! It's a hamburger hoot!! Honest! (I know Benny Buttons very well because my mother and sister wrote the book with me and every other stubborn hamburger-eatin' kid in mind!)

Little one loves this book, 2007-07-15
I am not a huge fan of this book, but my daughter LOVES it, so I am giving it 5 stars. She refused to try a sticky bun tonight because 'it's junk food', so I appreciate that (we mostly eat healthy around here). I just hope that she never points at anyone out in public and says something like "they eat way too much junk food".
