Dated, but still useful, 2008-08-21
Once you get past the 70's flavor of this book, it's clear how timeless the advice is. I found it to be a good reality check about the lost relationship. The best thing I can say about it is that I felt much better once I started reading it. That was what I hoped for in buying it.

THE IS NOT A SAFE READ IF YOU ARE STILL IN PAIN, 2007-11-08
I picked up this book in my ehaustive effort to find anything that would bring me solace during this incredibly awful period. This book is damaging and reinforces certain painful thoughts that are bound to be terrorizing you if you are recently out of a relationship. I also felt it tends to treat sexual relationships with a great deal of informality, which could be damaging to you and an innocent partner. It's not worth the 50 cents you can purchase the book for on this site.

Clinical, not spiritual, a little tough to read, 2006-05-16
I've read a lot of break up books since my break up. This book was helpful, but not sure if it actually helped me? Anyway, I found 2 sites...one for girls and for guys that ended up helping me because of the support groups. brokenheartedgirl.com and brokenheartedguy.com. Sometimes you need to talk to people and they also recommend other books.

The book was really helpful on overcoming my breakup. The book has really good information in it. The best information that I have found yet. In my opinion I highly recomend this book to anyone who is going through divorce or a breakup of any kind.

It covers most of the major themes dealing with loss. It reads a bit slow and some parts are not interesting. Rebuilding is significantly better book.
