Finally! This work is long overdue! People are so set in so called "Christian orthodoxy" that they are failing to see the message of Jesus as plainly put forth in the Bible. I have to wonder how those, like Mr. Youngkin and others, have missed these teachings, calling them a "major doctrinal flaw" in Brevere's book. Really? Christs own teachings are doctrinally flawed? I urge those who have fallen into the trap of believing everything that they are taught to read the Bible with new eyes and take it for what it actually says. Who wrote Christian orthodoxy anyway? Men did. Study the history.

 A Must-Read, 2008-07-19
This book has impacted how I think and act on a daily basis. It brought eternity into focus for me and has changed many of the beliefs I had accepted without really challenging them against scripture. Bevere gives multiple scriptures as back up for his premises. We were so challenged as a couple that we ordered a case of the books to pass to our family and friends!

I got this book on a recommendation from one of the pastors at my church and I cannot possibly thank him enough. The way John Bevere approaches a sensitive subject - how theology about the 'white throne of judgment' has been confused or downright distorted - is nothing short of genius. Using a well-conceived allegory, Bevere puts so much into perspective. Again, I can't thank Nate Rees (one of our worship leading pastors) enough.

An Inspiring Manual for Eternity, 2008-06-23
Out side of the bible this book has simplified and answered so many questions I have had over the years. It has impacted my relationship with Christ and given me a renewed sense of direction. I highly recommend this for new believers as well as well seasoned believers. If you want to experience what life truely means and understand your purpose in this life, read Driven by Eternity.

Driven by Eternity: A pastor's review, 2008-06-10
I was given a copy of Driven by Eternity by a church member and my life was forever changed. This book has proven to be the most important book I have ever read besides the Bible. It changed the thrust of my ministry and our church. We studied Driven by Eternity as a congregation and saw a renewed spiritual passion for the Lord.
