This was such a waste of money -- which is why I am dumb and broke and the author is smart and rich having suckered me into buying this. Self help books are usually thin but this one in particular was rather obvious, boring and mundane. Good title, lousy book.

I guess PT Barnum was right if you pay $25 for this book. I read this thing in the book store and put it back on the shelf. Gage is poorly thought out and sophomoric. He offers way too many sweeping generalizations like the idea that Hollywood is brainwashing you into believing it's noble to be poor. He only offers 2 movies to try and prove this point. It's ridiculous. Not to mention all the other Zen-like baloney that he talks about that will supposedly lead to great wealth. In fact the only points worth reading in the book are ones he stole from others like Ayn Rand's Fountainhead; Napolean Hill's Think and Grow Rich and The Power of Positive Thinking. All the rest is just BS.

5 out of 5 starsWOW ***********What A READ!, 2008-05-02
I could not put this book down. I have been studing the Networkmarketing Industry for years and have known of Randy for a long time. I also receive his e-zine so I am aware of his in-your-face style. I believe that the things we hear that get our dander up are most likely the things we need to look into ourselves for. Randy is hard hitting, he makes you take a real look at yourself. Where are you sabatoging yourself? Most importantly who are you asking for advice? So often we ask for advice from people who are indeed sick, dumb and broke. Go out find people who are where you want to be, get their advice, make a plan, have the self disipline to work the plan and allow yourself to have the succes you so richly deserve!!!
