Milly Review The Nurse from the Black Lagoon, 2005-06-30 This story is about a school who is going to have a new nurse. He thinks that the school nurse is going to be mean because of his friends says that.It is like a comedy show because the book is so funny. When every the kids go to see her she give them things that they are not to have. The other time when this kid got cut off by a paper, she gave him a big bandadge so he can put back him self. This kid in this room had a blue hand and he went to the nurse office. When he went there he realize that it wasnt so scary after all. When the nurse saw him she said,"whats wrong. After he change his clothe she checked in his pocket and it was a blue pen. When he left he wrote a thank you letter withhis new pen.He realize that he wasn't afraid after all.

Recommended for Ages 5-10, 2003-04-23 The people in this book say no one has ever seen the nurse. Her name is Mrs. Hearse. The kids say she has see-through statues of body parts, eye balls on rubber bands, heads filled with brains, and bodies stuffed with everything else. They also say that there was a kid with a stomachache and his skeleton is still there. She never leaves her office. She must eat her lunch there. They also say another kid got run over by a VCR cart and was flattened. He's now the rug in her office. The kids are scared of the school nurse. We recommend this book to ages from five to ten because it tells you that just because somebody says something about someone, it doesn't mean it is true.

Not just for children, 2002-09-26 I purchased this book for my mother, a school nurse. She got quite the kick out of this. This is an excellent buy for any school nurse, especially those who don't take themselves too seriously. :)

Nurse from the Black Lagoon, 2000-04-29 (As told to me by my eight-year-old brother)-If you like reading about weird stuff, this book is for you. A boy hears bad stuff about the school nurse, and his imagination runs wild. This is a good book, because it shows that a person can be good, even though you hear bad stuff about them.
