an important book for grasping the financial turmoil of the last few years, 2009-12-23
This is the perfect book for those wanting to know the how, why, and the historical background of the financial disasters that have befallen the US in the last few years.

Very solid research, good methods, good data, and good analysis by a very good sociologist at Iowa State.
