Best "get it done" dictionary out there..... period..., 2008-03-24
My wife has reentered college, and desperately needed a dictionary. She is wearing the pages out on this one, and uses the CD version quite frequently, especially the links to other types of reference, such as the thesaurus and the encyclopedia. Highly recommended reference that is a must have.

Very nice looking Dictionary. Always good to have a dictionary in your home. Never liked the smaller more handy dictionaries with a condensed word list. One day a word will bedevil you and you'll be gad to have the answer within reach.

Is a very good dictionary, 2008-02-13
We used it in our job.This dictionary is very specific.It has 15,700,000 citations from which their lexicographers chose 10,000 new words, for a total of 165,000 entries and 225,000 definitions.
The most interesting option is the date feature. Paging through the words attributed to a particular year is a definite retrospective of recollections.The most interesting option is the date feature.
