As a textbook, 2000-09-21
I use this text for basic and advanced courses at RIT. This book explains the multiple systems on modern offset lithographic presses. It is usually clear and concise (except its explaination of the many possible dampening systems is confusing). The diagrams and photographs are very helpful. This book is appropiate for the layman or seasoned pressman looking for how the machine works. It does not tell one how to make the machine work or replace the manufacturers operation manual.
