Editorial Reviews
Product Description
America's Godly Heritage clearly sets forth the beliefs of many famous Founding Fathers concerning the proper role of Christian principles in education, government, and the public affairs of the nation. The beliefs of Founders such as Patrick Henry, John Quincy Adams, John Jay, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and many others are clearly presented. It also provides excerpts from court cases showing that for 160 years under the Constitution, Christian principles were officially and legally inseparable from American public life. For those who want to know more about what was intended for America by the Founders and what can be done to return America to its original guiding philosophy, this book is an excellent primer.

5 out of 5 starsLies from Public Education, Now the Truth!, 2008-10-13
This book is a must read! This is truly where our nation built the foundation to becoming the most sought after place to live. Liberal leaders are destroying the very foundation of the truly God given principles for laws, truth and morality. If the U.S. continues down the path, we are doomed. There needs to be a repentance of thinking of self and a return to humility and seeking God to be our guide. Look at the financial mess of 2008, all due to greed!

5 out of 5 starsBrilliant, 2008-08-25
This very short book is just full on great facts regarding America's beginning. Separation of Church and State is addressed, as well as our founding father's beliefs. A very good book for a beginner's guide into true American history. Very good for those who went to public school like me and got the twisted, misleading version of American history.

5 out of 5 starsInspirational!!, 2008-07-16
This book was an inspiration. It taught me things that I either had forgotten or was never taught in school. I think every American should own a collection of books about our true American Heritage. Schools today don't seem to be teaching the WHOLE truth about our Nation's history. I have read this book with my children who are teenagers now, and there was so much in the book that has not been covered in their schools which are suppose to be teaching our children about American History! We need to continue to carry the truth about our heritage onto our children and grandchildren, so we don't lose who we are as a nation, as Americans! This book is a great start to doing this and a great addition to your American history collection.

5 out of 5 starsA must read for every American!, 2008-06-29
This tells the foundation on which this country was built & without it America would never had succeeded as it did. Well now we are so far off from it & look at us now. We need to clean up our act & get back to the moral principles our founding father's fought and died for. They would be ashamed of us & all we don't stand for anymore. This little book should have to be read by every American & the politicians should have to memorize it. God Bless America

5 out of 5 starsI have read and research everything Barton has written. He is incredibly accurate, 2008-06-25
The first clue that Mr. Barton is telling the truth is the torrent of scathing reviews from the Secularists. I have personally reviewed the facts presented in Barton's books, and have found them to be not just factually accurate, but intellectually honest.

The first thing to remember about secular historicism, is that the facts don't matter, just the political agenda.

We Americans write our own history. And the chapters of which we're proudest are the ones where we had the courage to change. - Al Gore, Speech at the Democratic National Convention (28 August 1996)
