SWAT Cop Review, 2006-06-05 SWAT Fitness by Matt Brzycki and Stuart A. Meyers is the best fitness book on the market. Our SWAT team has not only adopted their recommended fitness standards, but has used their training guidelines to create customized programs for each officer. I highly recommend this outstanding book for SWAT cops and high performance athletes.

A rather basic exercise book, 2006-05-26 The book is not bad and has good exercise information contained therein. However, I was disappointed by the fact that the book's title implies something high speed/low drag, and the reality is that it is a pretty basic exercise (mostly body weight) book. There is no doubt that if you followed the program and did the exercises therein, you would get in excelllent physical condition.

Ok if you are fitness illiterate, 2006-04-22 I am police officer with the ultimate goal of joining my departments E.R.T. team . I know the demands the job calls for. I thought this book would have some detailed protocols the teams use. To my dismay it was like my personal training text book I had in school. If you know nothing about fitness it's for you. If you are a dedicated fitness person or officer leave it on the shelf. I was disappointed.
