 Child's explanation of Rainbow Bridge, 2008-08-04
I wasn't sure what type of book this was. We had lost our beloved Border Collie and I was searching for books on grief associated with pet loss. This was one of the books I ordered. I knew about Rainbow Bridge but was surprised to find out that this book was geared to children and not too much about dealing with pet loss. Would I order it again? Only if I was dealing with children's loss of a pet.

 The Legend of Rainbow Bridge-2007 Revised Edition, 2008-05-16
Gave this to my wife as a gift. She loves dogs, but even more loved the illustrations. They are wonderful for young or old, and the story is also. I can picture someone reading this to a grandchild, explaining the loss of a favorite pet. I can picture an older person, after losing a long time pet, tearfully enjoying the illustrations and the story. Well worth the price.

Somewhere Over the Rainbow Pets Await, 2008-03-15
This is an outstanding book replete with equally outstanding illustrations. Readers are treated to the Legend of Rainbow Bridge. This is without a doubt one of the best books in offering solace to anybody who has ever lost a pet. I highly recommend this one.
I recommend this one with "The Rainbow Bridge: Pet Loss is Heaven's Gain;" "Jasper's Day;" "I'll Always Love You;" "For Every Dog an Angel" and "Saying Goodbye to LuLu." I think this one will bring tears to the eyes of all who read it. I say a heartfelt thank you to William N. Britton and Dandi Palmer. THANK YOU!

Heartwarming and Exceptional, 2008-01-03
This book is stunning. I highly recommend it. Each page is beautifully illustrated and wonderfully done. And each illustration is a tribute to this heartwarming story of the Legend of Rainbow Bridge. For some reason the reviews of the older edition of this book which is much less impressive are included here and I found that very misleading. There is no comparison. This version is exceptional. Truly stunning. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect gift for my friends who have loved their special pets. I bought it with "The True Story of Critter Angels" and together they have been enourmously helpful in the healing process for me and for those I love. I highly recommend this book. My young niece loves reading both books just because she loves the stories about animals.

Great book for the greiving friend who has lost a pet., 2007-10-27
I bought this book for a friend who had just lost her great dane. She found solace in this book and was grateful for the gift.
