Based out of Bladensburg, Maryland, 31-year-old Janet Stayley spent her life looking for a hustler. She never knew she would find one in her 15-year-old son, Kelsi. Nothing like I thought it was gonna be..., 2008-11-07
OK, this book was nothing like I thought it would be. It was a very strange relationship between a mother and son. I didn't like the way she did a lot of things with and/or for her son. But it was a good book.

Pretty good, 2008-10-05
I'm a fan of T. Styles writing style because she's hood with it and writes about DC and PG County MD were I reside and grew up. This book was a pretty good read it was fast paced and kept me interested. The main character is very easily manipulated by his mother who is full of surprises and in my opinion seemed a little crazy due to the fact that she wanted her son to be a cold blooded murder. The story overall I enjoyed although it was extremely unrealistic and the ending could have been better, I mean the motives of the surprise villain were just STUPID! I'm not sure if I'll even read pt 2. But to end on a good note pretty good read! lol

The book in the beginning kind of had you thinking , which is good because you want to know whats next. But in the middle, it just didn't stay consistent, and the end just didn't make any sense at all. But to each it's own!!!!

A Hustler's Son was a very good book. I couldn't put it down.
I read it in like 2 or 3 days. Keep up the good writing.
