Compliance, 2007-10-10 The book was alright, not very thorough in explaining exactly how to get into the compliance sector from the entry level-point. I am a law student looking to get into the subject, and the book didn't really help me find a way into that market. It does a good job of explaining what compliance is, and has some decent personal profiles of people in compliance, but when it comes to showing a method to get into the business, the book is not very good. What bothered me most is that it has a lot of mention of the author's "other" book, telling the reader to refer to it on numerous occasions and cutting short pertinent information, rather than putting the information in this book. Meanwhile his "other" book is very pricey and hard to find.
Overall, the stuff in this book is nothing more than what you might find doing a thorough internet search and talking to some people in the industry.
