Victoria Gray witnesses the murder/suicide of her parents, which left her alone and she became a product of the foster care system. She adjusted to the home in which she was assigned and was heartbroken when her aunt came to get her years later. She didn't enjoy living with her aunt mainly because of her live-in boyfriend who paid too much attention to her developing body. She flees the home after his attempted attack and runs into further danger. She was rescued by Babyface who allows her to stay with him since she had nowhere else to go.
Babyface and Victoria move in together and he seeks a hustle that will be lucrative for him. He is arrested during one of his job, which left Victoria without any resources. She turns to the world's oldest profession and sets Babyface up as her pimp although he's incarcerated. She works her game so well that by the time of his release, she has a productive operation put together and all he has to do was step into his role. Their adventures lead them across the country where they leave a trail of enemies and dead bodies along the way.
Jason Poole offers another heart-pumping ride. VICTORIA'S SECRET was action-packed, hard-hitting and explosive. The story is told in flashbacks as Babyface is reading Victoria's diary and reminiscing. Victoria's character shows the depth of a woman's love regardless of what she has to do to prove it. There were editing issues that presented distractions, but the tale was so plot-driven that the pages kept turning.

After reading this book, all I could say is WOW. I could not put this book down until the last page. Jason Poole done his thang in his latest book. Keep up the good work!

Pimp Hard, 2008-10-15
Victroia's Secret is the story of Victoria Gray and her undying devotion to her fiance-turned-pimp, Babyface. Following the tragic death of her parents, Victoria is forced to grow up overnight. She meets Babyface, and he takes her under his wings. Shortly after, Face is arrested and Victoria feels obligated to come up with the money for her man. She hits the streets with a vengeance and never looks back. This is the beginning of a lucrative career for the both of them. This was an enjoyable read, but the ending through me completely off. I know there's going to be a sequel and I can't wait to read about Victoria's reaction to the secret.

OMG!! A GREAT READ, 2008-09-13
THIS BOOK WAS SOOO GOOD I LOVED IT. I WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND THE WORLD OF PIMPS AND HOE'S IT'S CRAZY, WHEN VICTORIA AND FACE MET THINGS HEAT UP THE TWO TOGETHER ARE UNSTOPABLE. I DIDNT THINK SHE COULD GO THREW ANYTHING MORE. SHE LOVED FACE WITH ALL HER HEART AND HE LOVED HER TWO.
I COULDN'T BELIEVE WHAT VICTORIA'S SECRET WAS I'M STILL IN SHOCK THIS BOOK IS ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I'VE READ THUS FAR AND I'VE READ ALOT OF BOOKS.
