I am seeking healing. , 2008-09-17
I am seeking healing. ANY mention in this book? 17 days and no replies!
No one has mentioned healing in true revivals in their reviews (I searched the reviews page).
So does healing occur in true revivals? Does Andrew Strom mention it?
Jesus said that that believers shall lay hands on the sick and they shall be healed. Also the believers went and preached the Gospel and the Lord confirmed it with signs following.
So without healing, part of the Gospel is missing.
Will I find ANY answers in this book?
Is there anywhere in the world where true revival is occuring where people are coming to receive healing?
And yes, I have emailed Andrew Strom (9 days ago) before I posted this and I suppose he is too busy to answer. Thats OK. That happens.

A very fair review of the Florida movement and helpful too.
I will be recommending and passing this book on to one or two pastors at least.

True & False Revival, 2008-09-03
This book documents the phenomenon of revival among Christian people. Good historically and current as the "mess" that happened in Lakeland and beyond. A book for those who want to know the truth.

True & False Revival..An Insider's Warning..., 2008-08-30
I have read this book and absolutely agree with the warnings and observations that Andrew has presented in it. It is so very refreshing to read some honesty and wise counsel regarding manifestations that are occurring at an increasingly rapid rate with seemingly no discernment or check from the 'trusted' leaders. He outlines very fairly and scripturally the stance and understanding he brings. It is a very timely warning not to be so gullible by believing and accepting everything manifestation as being from God? Satan has to come up with a pretty good counterfeit to deceive the masses so it IS going to look like the real thing. Good on Andrew for being the clear trumpet voice of warning.

Anyone praying and waiting for REAL revival should read this book!!!, 2008-08-14
Incredible book that all Christians should read. Like Lee Grady said, As Charismatics, we shouldn't "check our brains at the door" when attending any kind of church service. God WILL give us the discernment we need to know what is deception and what is truth. If you want a rock-solid description of what revival truly is... READ THIS BOOK!
