Great Book for children visiting Paris., 2008-09-05 I saw this and read it Paris with Kids, and compared to that Urban Crayon Book on Parents with Children written by Sheridan Becker, this book by Karen Ulhmann is much better. Becker came to Jacksonville, and was promoting her book and then looking at other books in this category, all I can say is look at this one by Ulhmann, you wont be disappointed. The pictures are real and the contents are well organized.

very useful for traveling in Paris with kids, 2007-08-31 I looked at the various different books for traveling in Paris with kids and was really happy with this purchase. We went with our three kids, aged 2, 4 and 13. The book was clearly laid out and gave useful practical information on things we wanted to do. I particularly liked the section at the beginning on things that she would have wanted to know. For example, information on taxis, eating out, etc. Some of the adult guide books (Lonely Planet, etc.) just have way too much information overload to be helpful when traveling with kids.

The Only Way to Go, 2005-09-16 Thanks to Ms. Uhlmann for her unerring advice on what to eat, see, do and try in Paris. My seven- and ten-year-olds had an amazing time, which needless to say, made the vacation a delight for me, too. I've been to Paris a dozen times, yet going there with my kids gave me a fresh, fun perspective on the City of Light. With any luck, there'll be Rome for Kids, Madrid for Kids, London for Kids coming out any day.
