Product Description
For those of us who have always been fascinated by the unexplained—or inadequately explained—secrets and mysteries of this world, Sylvia Browne now brings her great insight.
Using a combination of information from her spirit guide Francine as well as her own incredible psychic powers, Sylvia augments current scientific research to provide us with detailed explanations about seeming inexplicable concepts.
From the Great Pyramid to Stonehenge, Sylvia reveals amazing facts about some of the world’s most mysterious sites. The truth behind sacred and controversial objects such as the Shroud of Turin and the Holy Grail are brought to light; and fascinating and mystifying topics such as crop circles, the Lost Continent of Atlantis, UFOs, Easter Island, and much more are examined and clarified.
Sylvia tears away the obscure and timeworn explanations that hide the underlying truths about these fascinating subjects.

2 out of 5 starsWhat a disappointment, 2009-01-04
I have read a couple of Sylvia's books before and found them thought provoking even if I didn't agree with everything in them. I am very open to the mysteries of the world and all of the possible origens. However, I was disappointed with this book. There was very little original/psychic information. Instead, there were a lot of common known background facts, references to websites such as www.mysteriesoftheworld.com, and self-promoting statements like "my psychic abilities confirm this information".
Looking at amazon's ratings, I am doubtful of all the higher ratings given to this book. Amazon's ratings tend to be pretty much on target. Maybe Sylvia's huge church/corporation/followers are promoting this book. Also, it looked like ALL of Sylvia's books were highly rated on Amazon. Certainly, every author would have fluctuations on which books were better than others. I would recommend- check out the above mentioned web site. You won't miss a thing.

4 out of 5 starsSylvia Brown is the Real Thing, 2008-12-12
In a post-911 world, there is a tremendous hunger for knowledge of life beyond death. So many new-age charlatans have jumped on the bandwagon, it's mind boggling; but Sylvia Brown is the geniune ticket. In this book, that explores a wide array of mystic phenomenon--Stonehenge, Easter Island, Shangri-La--she approaches each mystery psychically in partnership with historical and scientific research. I've been interested in unexplained enigmas for years and was extremely impressed by her knowledge and reference material; she left very few stones unturned. Brown immediately hits the right tone when she advises the reader to keep an open mind: "Take what you like, and leave the rest."

5 out of 5 starsLOVE this book, 2008-10-19
i definitely LOVE this book. it's my favorite book of her's that she's ever written. once the book was shipped to my house, i couldn't put it down and read the whole thing in one night's sitting. i was so excited and THAT curious as to what she had to say. it was great. and it made sense (well to me that is). she talks about the bermuda triangle, different creatures, stonehenge, jesus, everything that people have wondered about, the answers is all in this book. i totally recommend this to anyone.

4 out of 5 starsScience or Fiction?, 2008-03-05
I think it is a good read but you need to take it with a healthy dose of skepticism. Ms. Brown "visits" many mysterious sites and places that for whatever reason often provoked human's wildest imagination. I liked some of her ideas, but others (for example "tulpas" - living creatures created by our minds) do not agree with my scientific mind... But whether you agree with her or not, it is still interesting to read. Try it out and then decide for yourself.

A book that I enjoyed recently is Naked Pictures of Famous People

2 out of 5 starsJack of all and master of none., 2008-02-03
This book summarize almost all well known mysteries. Many topics requires in-depth analysis and explanation but this book just introduces topics and mentions what other people have written about.
Topics like Bermuda triangle, Inca, Egypt, Shangri-la are just discussed, of course there are books out there which gives meaningful insight.
This book is very useful for person who wants to know names and brief details of world mysteries.
