Cute Book!, 2008-12-03
This is a cute book which was recommended to me by a speech therapist. At the time, I bought this for an 18 month toddler. I like this book because it is a board book which takes a lot of abuse. This book does not have a lot of words which is great because you can make up your own story each time you read the book to your toddler.

YAY for My Dad!, 2007-03-15
My daughter took to this book right away. She is only 17 months old, yet, she can identify with the tempestuous little bear, bragging about his daddy. My husband especially likes to read it with her. It is definitely a father/child bonding book in our house.

My son won't put this book down!, 2006-06-05
My son first got this book when he was 15 months old and loved it. He loves making the animal sounds as each animal is mentioned and also knows to say "Daddy" as I turn the last page. He would get so excited that too many pages got torn, so we got a new book in the board book version and he has carried it everywhere for the past 2 days, even on his first trip to the zoo and bed. He's now 21 months old. He will sit down anywhere to read it. He loves it so much this is the first review I've written on Amazon.

Great book for young readers!, 2005-09-28
My son who's 16 month old ABSOLUTELY loves this book. He wants this book to be read to him every night, not only once, but twice or more. He has memorized the book to the point that before you even turn to the last page, he already knows to say "daddy".
The pictures are captivating and the simple story line is perfect for his age.

my twins love it!, 2004-11-01
I bought this book as a gift to my husband from his one year old b/g twins for Father's Day. Here it is the beginning of November, and it's still the twins most favorite book. True, the story line is simple (great for those VERY young readers like mine), but the pictures are wonderful (colorful & lots of detail), and the pages have a little weight to them so they don't rip as easily as some other books where the pages are super thin! It perhaps is a little too simple of a story line for older readers, but if you're looking for a special book for Dad to read to younger readers, then you've found the perfect book.
