Lots of helpful information...easy to understand, 2008-05-02 When I bought this book, I had a basic understanding of what tax deductions I could take as a landlord. Reading this book helped me really understand everything in depth, and pick up some deductions I didn't know about.
As a landlord, I think its important to have a solid understanding of how taxes work, even if somebody else does your taxes. This book will give you that knowledge, in an easy to read format.

Lengthy description for simple things, wasting time reading it., 2008-03-30 This book should be reduced by half in size. I have found many repeats, lenthy descriptions for easy-to-understand subjects, and hard to separate important issues from trivia. To be fair, I learned what I need from the book, but spent more than necessary in time and energy to sort out weeds from goods.
I am surprised to find so many positive comments for the book, which make me suspicious to buy other books based on them.

Comprehensive Explanation of Necessary Information, 2008-02-27 Although I haven't completed this book it is very comprehensive in explaining and covering the deductions alloweed and recordkeeping required for landlords. I am quite sure my tax man will appreciate the fact that I've studied up and have a working knowledge of the information in this book . For a new landlord it is a must have. Those who have been in the business awhile will also find it helpful.

Hits the Mark for the average small to meduim Landlord, 2008-01-18 Helps explain what the CPA was jabbering on about and puts things into clear perspective. When it starts to get confusing, the book refers you to other more in-depth publications. Highly recommended.
