This is a great book for a Bible Study. We have used it for Women's studies and for couples. I know the author personally. She lives what she writes...

THis is a wonderful book. It really makes a Christian think. I read it, and bought another copy for my daughter.

This book really wraps up God's truths for living the life we were meant to live as Christians. It's a great reminder that following God's paths make life worth living.

5 out of 5 starsher best book yet, 2006-03-28
How does the wise person become wise? Here's my answer: By choosing to live by deep truths.

Cynthia Heald has identified the deep truths she lives by in this book. But she doesn't merely state them. She makes them come alive by sharing stories from her life of how these truths came to anchor her soul. She tells other stories, also, stories from her experiences that illustrate how these truths were followed -- or ignored -- by others, and the real-life consequences.

When I finished this book I felt that I had been given two gifts: a glimpse into a life well lived, and the tools to live that life myself. I have read many books by Cynthia Heald and I think this is her best.
