Great book to learn the language used in science, 2009-01-05 This book has made learning new material in any science field much easier since it teaches you how to break down words into their prefixes/root words/suffixes and easily figure out the meaning of any thing. I can't praise this book enough! I've always liked etymology (origin of words) and this book is exactly that, and how "Latin" it is used in science. Along with etymology it also covers basic anatomy/physiology although its really only a primer, and its not to be used as a textbook for A&P. One of the most useful books I have ever read and is well worth the price-tag!
