Great Book, 2008-10-08
From the moment I started reading this book I couldnt put it down. I really enjoyed this book.. Getting ready to read Shameless Hoodwives.. I hope it's just as good as Desperate Hoodwives.... I must say, Junior was a monster.............Keep up the good work.

Overall good, 2008-08-25
Overall this was a good book, but some of the parts were unrealistic. It seems like the writers tried a little too hard with some of the scenes, which took away from it. I'm from the hood, so every situation that was described in this book does happen in the hood, but the way the authors describe them is what make it sound unrealistic.

Would I recommend this book to someone, yes! Would I put this book on my top 10 list, no!

i really don't have much to say, because everyone else has pretty much summed up the story. it was PHENOMENAL and if i could give it 10 stars i would. i cannot wait to read shameless hoodwives. this is by far, the best book of 2008!!

Great Read!, 2008-06-28
When I told everyone the title of the book I was reading, they all kinda laughed at me. Well the joke is on them because this book was a PAGE TURNER THAT I COULD NOT PUT DOWN UNTIL I WAS FINISHED! It took me about 4 hours to read and it was definitely worth it. I just finished it and I'm still sitting here like d*mn! Another reviewer said it was stereotypical and I have to disagree. It's a sad reality of the desperation people have when put in a dire situation such as living in the projects, looking for love, trying to get out. This is the first book I've ever read by either of the authors but it definitely won't be my last!
