Book Description Few needs are more important to a nonprofit organization than helpful information on where to find grant money. This new directory is the first to focus exclusively on operating grants--where to find them, what's required, and who to contact. Organized by state, this handy resource lists more than 1,100 grants that are available to all types of nonprofits: arts and humanities; community development; health care; science; children and youth; and education.Three user-friendly indexes (subject, sponsors, and geographic restrictions) let users quickly locate the right funding for their organization.

Even Though it's Not the Most Current, It's Still Great, 2005-03-15 Like I said in the review title, this book (it's the 2000 edition) isn't the freshest off the press. However, much of the information remains the same from one year to the next; this should really be considered a reference book. This is a good book to have on hand for nonprofits.
