Chiopractors and Compliance, 2008-05-12
Compliance is also a major concern for Chiropractors and their office managers. I think that books like this should be read by all Chiropractors and their staff. It would be great if it were taught in Chiropractic schools.

Comprehensive Guide, 2007-12-27
I work for a growing pediatric practice that cares primarily for Medicaid children. I found this book as I was looking for support materials as we develop our own compliance plan. It is, understandably, quite hospital-oriented, but everything in it is easily adaptable to other healthcare providers. The author developed and executed a plan for his hospital that is a poster child for best practices, so he knows what he is talking about. It is in plain English, is highly pragmatic, and highly oriented toward Getting It Done, with very practical steps for risk assessment, monitoring, etc. The accompanying CD-ROM has a lot of helpful tools, including templates and forms. It is really a kit for developing and executing a compliance plan. When you compare it to the cost of hiring a consultant or even having to develop all this yourself, it is a bargain at $100-$150. It is also a good first step for getting yourself up and going on the topic if the compliance plan project was just dumped in your lap!
