This book is a great addition to your personal library!, 2008-11-26
The Politically Incorrect Guide to the South is a must-read! I highly recommend this book for academics or for leisurely reading. You will find many interesting facts about southern living, the Civil War and other influential southerns in this book. You will learn facts that modern textbooks and the media won't tell you. It also includes quotes and excerpts of letters ranging from national leaders to everday people, showing their true feelings and opinions on many issues concerning the South, including the Civil War. We need more books like this one that shine a light on the truth. Educate yourself by reading this exciting book. Find out what "politically correct" people don't want you to know!

Superb read , 2008-11-26
Truly a superb read that masterfully sheds light on and corrects the lies promulgated by most textbook writers regarding the War of Northern Aggression against the CSA. As a proud Southerner and Texan, a million kudos to Mr. Johnson for his fine work. Elitist revisionists I'm quite sure have placed him high on their hate lists for his effort, which in turn, makes this a must read for historical truth seekers.

Good Book, 2008-10-07
I ordered this for my BF as a gift. He really liked it. Some of the facts were maybe a little off, but the basic gist of the book is good. It makes you proud to be a Southerner and shows the importance of preserving our culture when outside sources are moving in and changing it.

Not as good as some PIG books, 2008-05-14
I haven't finished this book yet, because it hasn't grabbed me as quickly as some other PIG books have. There are some interesting facts about the South, but it is mostly a rah-rah book for the South
