Great Read, 2008-11-21 I liked this book. The characters were well written and the story was thoroughly enjoyable.
I did find portions of the mystery a little predictable, and I have to agree that the ending is abrupt - but overall, it was a great read.
And to all you ladies who like your love scenes demure, be warned, these are hot, hot, hot!

Wickedly Good , 2008-10-13 Loved this book. Many folks have already shared the plot so I will not rehash that. I loved this story and all of the secondary characters. I enjoyed the sweet sexual tension between Cassie & Tony. I also enjoyed that Cassie knew what she wanted and had the strength and patience to wait for it. Thank goodness Tony came to his senses and did not go through with his stupid plan. The secondary characters in this story are so good!!!! The ending of the story had a great twist and reminded me I fell in love with Cassie. This book will be added to my all time favorites list.

Simpley Wicked, 2008-09-03 I do love to read Lisa Riley's books and this one did not disappoint me. This story had a lot of twist and turns, but it still had my attention.

Simply Wicked , 2008-08-07 At a young age, budding actress Cassidy Hamilton, knew what is felt like to lose everything. After the demise of her parents, Cassidy was reared by her loving uncle and grandmother. Spoiled, yet sheltered, Cassidy's personality evolved into that of a cultured young woman with a take no prisoner's attitude. One who knew from early on that British businessman Tony Carleton was the man she was meant to have. Too bad Tony isn't as cooperative when it comes to making all Cassidy's wishes come true. When the woman who leaves you breathless is the same age as your baby sister it's a little hard for a man of substance to look beyond his need to protect over his need to have the woman who he finds himself falling madly in love with. Now that Cassidy has made her way to his homeland, Tony will have to use all his will power to keep the tempting minx out of his bed until he's sure she is really ready for the lifetime commitment he wants. Meanwhile a ghost from the past has decided to make sure Cassidy's life is short lived as her family's past comes back in the name of a deadly stalker intent on revenge.
As I set about reading Simply Wicked, a tale of an older man/younger woman relationship I wasn't really sure what to expect. As a woman fast approaching middle age I think there is always the threat that younger is better. I was pleasantly surprised at how reserved the relationship between Cassidy and Tony turned out to be. Lisa G. Riley really won me over by showing this romance was just that true, built on much more than the enticement of a younger woman's body. I also think Cassidy's background; her high intelligence and the fact that she was able to remain grounded in the world of TV made her much more mature than your average 20 something year old college grad. I think readers who enjoy interracial relationships in their stories that aren't focused on the topic of race will find Simply Wicked enjoyable and just what they've been looking for.

Incredibly fun to read, 2008-08-04 I really enjoyed reading this book. It focuses more on the developing romance between Tony and Cassidy and less on the stalker plot, which was a slight let down because I was expecting more action with that. It wasn't given a lot of time in the novel and wrapped up very quickly by the novel's end. Nevertheless, the book was light and funny. The interaction between Tony and Cassidy (especially Cassidy and her antics) was interesting and some of the side characters (including Tony's parents) were hilarious at times.
Other than that the book is very straightforward, just like Cassidy. She knows what she wants and relentlessly goes after it, which is pretty uplifting.
