Obnoxious cutesy tone, out-of-date, 2005-05-08
Well, being out of date (published 2000) is not the author's fault, but the appalling cutesy tone is. Avoid Ms. Lessing (now Mrs. Friedman, apparently)

Useful book with clear instructions!, 2002-09-03
When I bought my iMac, I knew I would need a computer manual as well, but most of the books out there are far too technical or waste my time by spending hundreds of pages explaining things I don't need or want to do on my computer.

Pamela Lessing saved the day. She has written a clear, concise book that tells you how to do everything you'll want to do on your iMac in a non-condescending manner.

What a great book! I highly recommend this book for all iMac users!
