Product Description
Thalia, a 25 yr. old wild girl gone good, moves back to her old neighborhood after a failed engagement and manages to catch the eye of the town’s most wanted man… the middle aged, incredibly sexy, single, devoted, and charismatic Reverend of Mount Pleasant. To add insult to injury Rev. Isaac Flack happens to be the father of, Madison, her best friend since Junior High, who isn’t trying to deal with her father dating anyone after her mother’s death.

Since Thalia was a teenager visiting his house to do math homework with his daughter she was intrigued by him, and now that she is a woman he wants her beyond reason. Thalia asks Isaac to remain her secret, but he wants the world to know. However, when tragedy strikes their love is exposed to her family, his colleagues, his congregation, and her best friend… his daughter. And when the holier than thou older church sisters gets this gossip in the wind, after years of schooling their daughters in Pastor’s Wifeolgy, the Holy Ghost just won’t move in Mount Pleasant.

The word is out but that’s not all they had to overcome, there is still a secret behind door number three. A former lover rears his ugly head and forces their relationship to change for the absolute worst.

5 out of 5 starsmade me wanna get it in with a rev!!!, 2008-09-29
I must admit, it took me some months to read this book after I ordered it. I don't know what was my problem. I had gone through a string of books that "looked" good but were really disappointing. I didn't wanna get let down again. To make a long story short, I wasn't. This by far was one of the best books I've read. It's not really on some street lit ish which was different. Usually a lot of black books kinda run with the same plot. We get really redundant. I liked this book because it had something for everyone. If you like books that are sexual, this would be for you. If you like a good biblical read, this would be for you. If you like a good love story, this would be for you. Trista captured all 3 of those elements equally and lovely. It is really a great read!

3 out of 5 starsYou love who you love. That's the bottom line., 2008-08-31
In this spritually enlightning yet eminently powerful story Trista Russell tells yet another story that could be true and may have happened in someone's real life. Not only is love possible but the possiblities are endless. The book description does not give a good perception of the book. You must read it in order to grasp the true contents of it. This is the third book by Trista that I've read. I equally enjoyed Going for Broke and Fly on the Wall. I was pleased with the way she implemented scripture and prayer in the book. The only thing that left me hanging was the ending. That prick Colin needs to be brought down a notch. Hopefully when told, Tyann can accept the info and move on but I seriously doubt it. The end is left unknown for this book. One can only wonder because it was so abrupt. 3 1/2 stars do to the brusque ending.

5 out of 5 starsVery romantic, 2008-07-21
Trista has become my favorite author for summer 2008. If you haven't read a book by her it's time to make a selection from her list....just as I gave five stars to Fly on The Wall, I'm giving Trista five stars for this romantic novel. I really enjoyed the twist and turns of the story line. If you want love from a pastor, this book got it, you want drama, love making, and romance on the sands of Hawaii, this book got it. I absolutley would have rated it more then five if I could've.
