3 out of 5 starsI'm confused about this one..., 2008-08-29
Before I start, let me clear up something.I am about as open minded as a person can get.And the reason I'm this way is because of some incredible experiences I have gone through in my life. And quite a few of those experiences did involve UFO's and alien abductions. So even before I started reading a single page of this book,I already wanted to love it.I love hearing someone share their experiences about this subject,it's nice to know there are other people out there who have an understanding of something like this.

As I said,I am open minded...BUT I'm not gullible either.

This book started out pretty good, but it doesn't take much time before it seems far-fetched.Something that really bothered me is when he is talking about learning this alien alphabet. On one page he is shown this letter and these aliens are telling him "YOU MUST LEARN THIS!" and they basically torture him when he refuses and yells at them. Then on the very next page,he says his vision "was a blur".Now,I don't know,Maybe I'm just confused here. But how can this guy remember the symbol (which is shown in the book),or even know what is going on in the first place,if his vision was a complete blur?I don't get it,but then again maybe I'm just reading it the wrong way.

Then the book has it's ups and downs. Some of it makes sense, but then it will go back to being way out there (like I stated above).I do believe in alien healers 100%,and I thought the story he told about that was interesting.

So in the end,I'm just not sure.Jim's experiences with aliens have been very different from mine for the most part,so I can't call him a liar just because I haven't seen or felt the same things he has.But at the same time I can't help but feel a little suspicious about some of the things he talks about.

I'll probably read this again, and will try reading it from a different view point instead of my own.If my opinion changes for better or worse,I'll add it onto this review.

5 out of 5 starsNew ufo information for tomorrow's future, 2008-06-11
A straight forward book by a courageous American.
There are only a handful of people who have really served their country in these days and times.

We are getting so close to first contact by ordinary citizens who will make a treaty with the visitors in order to get help with our environmental problems. The visitors tried the military and the governments of world powers but the military only wants to know how to make advanced weapons, etc. OUR PLANET IS DYING, PEOPLE!

Jim explains that we will have to offer amnesty to those in power and that is a hard pill to swallow when the truth comes out and it will, but it is the only way. We will need these people to keep running things through the transition necessary until we have developed the new technologies with help from the visitors to clean up our ENVIRONMENT FIRST.

Look how the living ocean has reacted lately. We need to learn to respect, love, and be thankful to our water supplies.
[...]

Jim has also published the alien alphabet. When we learn this from the aliens we are capable of learning tremendous amounts of knowledge in a very short time. The aliens are here to help us save our planet. In exchange we have something that they need thus a Treaty or Trade Agreement is in demand. The sooner the better. We both have something to offer each other.

Let's save our children, grandchildren, and future generations along with our natural resources, animals and plant life. Let's clean up our planet. It might be too late already to reverse the process. We are living in the END TIMES and it started with 9/11. Look around you at what is happening. Those who have ears hear. Look at the signs around you. HOW much longer can this planet survive if something isn't done right now? Look to the heavens for a sign.

Thank you, Jim for writing a book that everyone needs to read.
I wish the Inner Core godspeed and good luck! People, also read Streiber's books. It is the same message!!

2 out of 5 starsterrible writing, 2008-01-13
This is interesting subject matter, whether you believe in ETs or not. Sparks includes a lot of details from his experiences. An entertaining book. My complaint, which unfortunately made it difficult to resist flipping through some of the filler: the writing stinks! Sparks should definitely have had a ghost writer on this.

4 out of 5 starsCompelling reading for those with an open mind, 2008-01-09
I'd heard Jim Sparks several times as a guest on Coast to Coast AM, so a lot of this story was already familiar to me. It's an easy read and went into details that the radio interviews didn't allow time for. I think Jim is telling the truth, at least as he sees it. In reading it I find that it's hard to understand the motivation of the "ET's" with whom Jim is dealing. Jim also points out their penchant for creating illusions through mental manipulation, so I find it hard to separate the reality of his experiences from the screen jobs.

There's no doubt in my mind that Jim is dealing with something extraordinary. I'm fascinated by his story and have been lead to do a lot of brainstorming after reading it. It's too bad that there's a stigma in our culture about sharing stories like this. I'm convinced that ther are a lot more out there who've undergone this sort of experience, but are afraid to share it because of ridicule.

5 out of 5 starsThis book was awesome!, 2008-01-04
The reason I loved this book wasn't just because I believe Aliens exist, it was because it was easy to read and he got to the point fast and didn't waste time with pointless chatter like you get in some books. He just wrote about his experiences and what happened between him and the Aliens and thats what I wanted to hear. There were some really surprising parts in the book that I didn't expect and that made it a good read. And since he was conscious and remembered everything that happened it made it hard for me to put it down.
I cant wait to read his next book.
