There are much better references on Japanese Aircraft., 2008-11-03
There are some interesting statistics and nice color profiles in the book but no actual photos of the aircraft, just some descriptions.

It concentrates on which squadrons were on the various Japanese aircraft carriers at various time, and the squadron markings.

OK but not great.
