Product Description The biggest danger in the world today is not the asking of questions, but the assumption that we have all the answers.WHAT GOD WANTS This book, from the author of the phenomenal New York Times bestseller Conversations with God, is dangerous. Why? Because it explores with startling freshness the most important question you could ever ask -- and offers with breathtaking courage the most extraordinary answer you could ever imagine. That answer is so theologically revolutionary and spiritually empowering that it could change the course of human history. If embraced, it most certainly will change your life. There are people and institutions in the world, long in place and long in power, that want neither of these outcomes to occur. They would rather that you put this book down right now. When was the last time you read a dangerous book?

This book will help you remember who you are, 2008-09-21 I think this is NDW's most important book. It can be hard to read. Some of the points are pretty raw. But, if you can internalize them, experience their truth, it is a beginning to your understanding, remembering, of who you are. Other pointers are Enlightenment for Beginners by Chuck Hillig and writings by Alan Watts. A comforting, thrilling and familiar scenario for the future was given by James Redfield, The Celestine Prophecy.
I really appreciate how NDW follows the processes all the way through to satisfying and logical conclusions, providing a hopeful view of the future and your continued presence in this cosmos.

I am tired of Bible Preachers...., 2008-09-07 Ok, let me first say that I am definitely a new ager. I believe that all living things are connected which people keep on calling a "new age" but really it's "old age". I never judge others for their different belief systems simply because I think everyone deserves that free will in life. My problem is that many modern christians & catholics are not open minded. They tend to judge everyone for having a different opinion which I don't care what religion you believe in thats not ever god's way. Some people hate the very thing that they are, the very thing that they believe in without ever noticing it. Mankind has to open their eyes to a broken world. No one is going to save you from something that you created. This is mankinds problem not gods problem so stop waiting for someone to save you from it. Never happened in the past & wont happen in the future. If you stay locked up in that myth then this world will never be saved because to many people are being ignorant believing in fairy tales of a god saving us from a world made up of our own free will. Let me first say that I do believe in jesus, god, & the afterlife without any doubts. I am not so sure that Neil is having a conversation with "God" because you never know what your getting when you channel. However, we should stop judging what he is saying & consider some of the things that he says. I don't believe in hell or the devil either. Only love exists in the afterlife & in this world it's the closest thing we have to "God". Their are many things in the bible that I challenge. For one why would god forgive us for our sins, have unconditional love for us all, as well as create what are obviously imperfect human beings when he is a perfect god just to throw us into hell. Doesn't sound so unconditional or forgiving to me. Who wrote the bible? Just as you say this book is a lie well let me tell you something there is many scriptures missing from the bible due to the catholic church & their power. So how can you take the bible as 100% truth? Most of the bible is symbolism & even is all of it was true most of the scritures have been majorly interpreted. There is also things in the bible that are new age beliefs that no one picks up on such as "the laws of attraction" & "support for reincarnation". The bible is a man made mess. Don't believe everything you read. You should challenge everything & seek that truth in your heart. Your heart & love is the true way to god. So what does god want? Well he want you to be happy. No religion is truly godly if it is being used to hurt others such as the darkside of christian history & the overuse of power of the catholic church. They killed innocent people! Hint, Hint same people that wrote your bible. Before, you go judging other belief systems some of you really need to challenge your beliefs & how christianity really began. We can't change the world untill people stop being so ignorant. It's healthy to be skeptical but not so much that you refuse to look at evidence that new ideas may possibly superior to your own. Their is proof of mediumship, past life regression, existence of energy in our universe, & near death experiences. Their are doctors as well as scientist that have done studies on such ideas & have found many similarities in people experiences that it's impossible to not atleast consider the evidence. There is no evidence of any devil, hell, or punishing god that I have ever seen & I read alot of books on spirituality.

An essay of what god wants, 2008-02-18 People who beleive in God may be offended because the author says that God wants something, if any, different from what beleivers already think he wants.

What Does God Want?, 2007-11-12 I found my way to Neale Donald Walsch's books through way of "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne. Amazingly enough the movie, "Conversations with God" showed up in our mailbox through our movie subscription and no one had requested it. I of course watched it being that it was related to God and that inspired me to read Neale's books because I recognized him from "The Secret."
His books are amazing and will change the way you see yourself, the world around you and God, however, if you are not at the point in your life at which you are ready for the information in these books, you will not understand what is being said. At times, it can be confusing but the more you read, the more you understand.
We have been taught so much about God that is incorrect, and after reading this book, it makes so much more sense. I have realized many things about my relationship with myself and God over my lifetime that have been repeated and confirmed in Neale's books. God DOES speak with me all the time and in amazing ways.
If we could all remember our connection to God and each other and realize the things that Neale, and God, share with us through this book and his others, the world would be such an incredible place. It is all really so simple, we just have to remember and reconnect...
If you are truly ready for the truth about God and what He wants, then read this book...

What God Wants, 2007-07-19 First of all, I was compelled to read this book as I have loved others by Neale Donald Walsch.
I picked it up and finished it a couple hours later. In my opinion it simplified the entire spiritual journey for me. Without negating belief systems/religions it offers a new fresh new prospective of God to the human experience on this planet.
I had a deep feeling of peace and contentment upon finishing the book and I would recommend it highly to the spiritual seeker.
