Christmas Will Be Better This Year, 2008-11-30
I had this c.d. for many years until someone "borrowed" it, and chose to never return it, or the other 15 or so that she took. I am so happy I finally remembered to look for it, and that it was here! I would never need any other Christmas c.d.'s. The holiday is sometimes difficult for me as I spend it home alone as my family doesn't get together since my mom and dad died. I think I went to a John Denver concert after this was on t.v. - my memory isn't the best :) The Muppets somehow sound so reverent, and Miss Piggy is great! I just ordered it, and can barely wait for it to arrive!

Festive & thoughtful: for children of all ages! Where's the dvd please!, 2008-11-06
I have been a John Denver fan since the mid-seventies and I've also had a soft spot for the muppets. I would agree with an earlier reviewer and say that this is also my favorite Christmas cd, along with John Denver's 'Rocky Mountain Christmas' a close second! Well needless to say I loved this piece of Holiday fare the first time I saw it on tv. I also have been hoping and waiting patiently for it's release someday on dvd! I sincerely hope that it's not being held up due to legal ramifications, as this could bring such joy and brighten many a Holiday season. I'm sorry to see that so many young people and children have not had the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful show! Now that I'm aging (slightly) with two young children of my own, my daughter almost 10 and my son almost 8, I would very much like to share this with them! I hope that somehow it get's released in the very near future! Thanks.

Where is the TV Show?, 2008-09-27
This wonderful album is actually the soundtract from a television show. I copied the original on an old Beta tape years ago and kept that old machine just so I could watch this one show every Christmas. Eventually the old girl died ( the tape, not the machine).Can someone please tell me why this show has never been released on DVD? I've written to everyone I know and I can never get an answer.

My fave Xmas Album, 2008-02-04
Not only did I think this is this great for adults but my kids have asked me to stop playing it over and over. This is one of my favorite albums ever. When the River Meets the Sea and It's in Every One of Us are fabulous songs. If you have one ounce of kid in you that part of you will love it and it is much about the deeper Xmas experience.

A Sentimental Stroll with John Denver and the Muppets, 2008-01-20
What an enjoyable CD! John Denver at his finest and the fun Muppets with Jim Hensen as Kermit the Frog. Christmas songs take on a bitter-sweet flavor when these two team up with the rest of the Muppets to make a Christmas CD that everyone can love. The Twelve Days of Christmas is an original with Miss Piggy stealing the show. This CD can be played any time of the year. The first 100 degree day will find me listening in my air conditioned car!
