Product Description An unemployed homeless man who once turned to God for the answers to life's problems decides to share the information he received with the rest of the world by penning a series of best-selling books and now his remarkable story comes to the screen in a biographical drama from producer/director Stephen Simon. There was a time when Donald Walsch (Henry Czerny) had no place to go and no one to turn to but that all changed when he directed the hardest questions he had ever asked at the entity many view as the be-all and end-all of human existence. The answers that he received would not only change his life but the lives of millions of readers as well. An unlikely spiritual messenger whose works subsequently sold over seven million copies and translated into thirty-four languages Walsch's remarkable tale finally comes to the big screen courtesy of the producer behind such spiritual-centric films as What Dreams May Come and Indigo. PJ's Review for Conversation with God, 2008-09-21 Although the movie has a catchie title I was not exactly thrill by it. More or less if felt like an awareness for homeless people than a conversation with God. And to be honest if one of us had a convesation with the all mighty... I really wonder if your could possible put that on writting less in video. Anyhow I don't recon. God bless. PJ

Doesn't explain anything, 2008-06-16 The reason I wanted to see this film is because I was under the impression that it offered some sort of spiritual wisdom. I have not read the book yet, but the movie just basically followed the author through his progression from homeless to author. I did like how they portrayed his homelessness. It seemed very real and I really felt for him. However, there wasn't nearly enough dialogue. There were issues that were left unexplained, and it almost seems to portray the author as some sort of prophet who actually heard the booming voice of God from above speak to him directly and he just "knew" about the woman in the book signing who lost her son... It just seemed a bit too theatrical and unrealistic, which made me not like the film.

CONVERSATIONS WITH G_D The Movie, 2008-05-12 There should be more movies like this. It literally teaches you to combine thought, words, and deeds which we need to do a lot more of; this is called CREATION.
