My kids LOVE this book, 2008-12-01
My son has OCD and my daughter thinks she does b/c she has to copy everything he does. This book is AWESOME. They are 4 and 5 and quote it all the time now...."I LOVE you ALL DAY LONG, Mom".

Very helpful with separation anxiety, 2008-11-02
I gave this book to my daughter whose two-year-old just started preschool, and she tells me it has helped so much with his adjustment. The refrain has become a kind of "mantra" of reassurance for him--not unlike carrying around a security blanket. His mother has personalized the text, reminding him that "I love you when you're at school, I love you when you miss me ( but I ALWAYS come back), I love you when you're playing with blocks, I love you when the teacher is reading you a story, I love you when you're having fun on the playground." She also reminds him at home that "I love you when you're taking a nap, I love you when you make a mess, I love you when I'm angry with you, I love you all day long!" He also enjoys filling in his own examples. A wonderful, warm story with a helpful message for toddlers!

Sweet book, 2007-11-06
This book is simple, yet it gets the point across very well...when Mom is gone, she still loves her little one all day long. My 2 1/2 year old granddaughter loves it and it has helped her with separation issues. A must have for all mothers that want to reassure their young ones!!!

My three year old loves this book. She likes to look at the pictures and talk about Owen's day at school.
