I read this book in one afternoon. I couldnt get my nose out of it. I finished it in 5 hours with a few breaks to give my eyes rest. Great story, Great plot. Fantastic all around! Its a must read!

This book is REALLY good!! It was recommended by a friend of mine so I thought, what the heck. I couldn't put it down! It would make a great romatic comedy. Here's hoping we see it on the big screen some day!

This book is smart, fun, and addictive! I read it in 2 days! It is as fun as Sex and the City! I recommend all three books by Kristen Hamel she is fantastic!

Loved it!!!!, 2008-05-30
I absoultely loved this book. I think its one of the best Chick lit books Ive read. Although it has the same storyline (girl meets boy, girls falls in love, girl has huge dilemma, girl gets together with guy) the author still found a way to make this story interesting. Her writing style is superb and youll asbolutely love the main character. For anyone who likes this book i would also recommend "how to kill a rockstar." Although it starts off slow, it has one of the best love stories and a very suprising ending

I feel that this book is overrated. I have read lots of chick lits and this one doesn't even come close to my top twenty (or fifty) favourite ones. Okay...yes..its a 'dream come true' flick. Normal girl meets gorgoeus movie star and he falls in love with her IMMEDIATELY. (on their first meeting! how credible is that?) and what does she do? She rejects him.....(ditto...)several times...over and over again...(because he cannot be possibly attracted to someone short and plain like her -as she keeps repeating to herself) I just ended up disliking her in the end. She is a loser because she loves her scummy, swindling boyfriend..who expects her to let him live with her for free while he writes his non-existent book and she is always the one who pay for eveything.. and when she catches him cheating on her...(and this was so obvisiously coming) she is soooo angry she goes to get drunk but but then, after a while, (after having again and again rejected Cole) she gives her ex bf another chance...
There is no laugh-out-humor here at all...if there was I must have missed it while skimming over the pages (the book simply couln't grab my interest) It is a very, very predictable book. Cole is given almost no importance...he is almost like a minor character in the book (although he is often in everyone's conversations..we hear a lot about him...but he is rarely on stage) And her best friend is sooo cliche...(perfect, plain, and stands by you no matter what)
I expected something else...something new...but this is just a plain cindirella-like story set in the celebrities scene. Wouldn't recommend it at all....
