Description Perry Mason is an attorney who specializes in defending seemingly indefensible cases. With the aid of his secretary Della Street and investigator Paul Drake, he often finds that by digging deeply into the facts, startling facts can be revealed. Often relying on his outstanding courtroom skills, he often tricks or traps people into unwittingly admitting their guilt.

Good for us samplers, 2008-10-08 I bought this set as a person who just wanted a sampling of the show -- not entire seasons. It's a pretty good collection, but does demonstrate that the show lost a lot of quality in its final seasons. The older seasons (in black and white) are much better in writing and acting. It is enjoyable to see the performances of guest actors who later became big names.

Perry Mason - Speed It Up Guys..., 2008-09-14 Perry Mason - Very Fun To Watch, but - For those of us getting up in age please release the Perry Mason seasons in one set (not two per season) and hurry up between releases - I'd like to enjoy them before I die.

Perry Mason Rules, 2008-09-03 I have watched Perry Mason since I was a young boy watching every week with my parents. I watched episodes with my own children and we have many happy family memories. To this day there is not a television program I would rather watch than Perry Mason and this 50th anniversary anthology makes for easy and memorable viewing.
As far as law shows are concerned, Perry Mason was the original and remains the best.

I bought this edition because..................., 2008-08-28 I DID purchase this edition of Perry Mason; for my mother. She is 89. She wanted to see the very last episode with Dick Clark.
Seeing as my mother is 89; Your Honor the defense rests!
