Product Description

It was just what I expect of Sandra Hill. It was funny, down to earth, and it kept you interested all the way to the end. Keep it up!

Great entertainment and very funny., 2008-08-23
This was my first Sandra Hill book, I loved it. It was entertaining and funny and fresh. I have since gone on to read all I can get my hands on by her ( Red Hot Cajun, The Cajun Cowboy, Pearl Jinx, Pink Jinx, Wild Jinx) and have not yet been disappointed, I am now reading her time traveling Viking II series( Rough and Ready, Hot and Heavy, Wet and Wild, Very Virile Viking, etc..) and I really put off reading these till last because I did not think I would like them, but the lady has a way with a book, she puts a new twist to the romance novel genre. I have yet to be let down by one of her books. Buy It you will enjoy and want to read more.

 I disliked the heroine too much to be able to enjoy the book., 2008-04-25
I loved the hero, Remy, and much of the book was a fun read. But, I don't recommend it because of my dislike of Rachel.
CAUTION SPOILERS:
I hated the reason she broke up with Remy. The author should have used another reason to break them up. When she finally agreed to have sex again at the cabin, it was after three days of denial. I didn't like that she made them wait three days before having sex. Then when he came to her after two weeks to try to get back together, she wouldn't have him. Also, I didn't buy the ending. She was mad at him for several reasons. Then after she saw him go onto the stage, she all of a sudden forgets the past and goes off with him? It was not a reasonable resolution.
Sexual language: moderate. Number of sex scenes: not counted, but at least three. Setting: the bayou, Louisiana, and a small part of the story is set in the Washington D.C. area. Copyright: 2003. Genre: contemporary romance.

Typical Sandra Hill Style, 2008-02-08
As in her Wet n Wild series, these Cajuns don't stand a chance around their prospective mates, thanks mostly, in due, to good ol' St. Jude...Patron Saint of Hopeless Causes and their aunt Tanta Lulu! Remy Lanier doesn't feel he deserves a chance at love, having been badly burned while on a mission during Desert Storm, but Feng Shui interior designer has other plans, though neither of them know it.
Not too many authors have the capability to make a reader laugh out loud, but Sandra Hill does. I'm glad I found these books on Amazon.

Funny Cajun Humor, 2007-12-20
I honestly did not think that I would enjoy this book because I live in Houma, LA. Being a native of South Louisiana books about this area usually just aggrivate me due to the way cajuns are portrayed. Some of the dialoue in this book was hard to follow even though I hear cajun french on a daily basis.
I cracked up laughing at Taunt LuLu the whole book. I have now purchased every book in this series & can not put them down out of the curiosity of what will happen next. Sandra Hill has done an excellent job in writing this series & I only hope that they keep going.
