British Bankers Association Definition

The British Bankers' Association (BBA) is a trade association, which represents banks and other financial services firms, either British or foreign owned, that operate in the United Kingdom. As of December 2003 there are 250 members, as well as many associate members which fund its activities.


One of its activities is market pricing benchmarks such as LIBOR rates.
