Internal Rate Of Return - IRR is the discount rate used in capital budgeting to measure the profitability of an investment by making the net present value of all cash flows from the investments equal to zero. This rate reflects the interest rate at which the net present value of costs of the investment are equal to the net present value of the gains of the investment.
